Metadata tab
The Metadata tab contains the following options:
- Available Metadata - lists the available metadata items that can be put in the layout.
NOTE: Details about the Dublin Core and AGLS metadata fields are sourced from MetaChem (http://www.dublincore.org/).
Fields in this dialogue box will change according to the selected metadata:
- HTML Elements - some of the standard HTML elements of a Web page:
- Generator - indicates the creating application of the Web publisher layout
- Keywords - enter keywords that will be searched for by Internet search engines.
Enter searchable words to be included in the published page.

- default:title - title at publish time
- Keywords scheme
- LCSH - Library of Congress Subject Headings
- MeSH - Medical Subject Headings
- AAT - Getty Art and Architecture Thesaurus
- Keywords content
- Dublin Core Elements
- AGLS Elements - Australian Government Locator Service
- HTML Elements - some of the standard HTML elements of a Web page:
- Name - the name of the selected element
The following fields will change according to the selected metadata. These fields may contain a drop-down list and other functions according to the selected metadata element.
- Sub Element - any sub elements of the selected element
- Content - content of the selected element
- Scheme - sets the scheme used for the selected element
- Language - sets the language used for the selected element
- Displayed Metadata - currently displayed metadata elements
- Add - to add the selected element to the Displayed Metadata list
- New - to create a new metadata element
- Delete - to delete a selected metadata element
