Other search methods
The search method category Other contains search methods that do not really fit into any of the other categories.
- From the Search menu, select Find Records
- At the bottom of the dialogue, click the Editor button and make sure that the Boolean search editor is selected
- Click KwikSelect beside the Search By box
- Click the expand symbol to expand Other
- Select one of the search methods.
In the space below the list, you can see more detail about the search method.
The column Caption shows the field or data the search method is about, for example:- All - returns all records
- Batch Number - combine with any search to return batch number X of a total number of batches. As a result, Content Manager divides the total number of items in the search result into equal parts according to the total number of batches. This enables you to work with smaller numbers of items when the total number of items in the search result is very large.
For example, you could divide record update work across different processes or threads. - Meeting - returns all the records associated with a meeting
- Originated From - returns all the records with a particular Origin
- Synch Pending - to use with zero-footprint SharePoint integration. Finds SharePoint documents that have not been synchronised yet.
- Click OK to return to the Search for Records dialogue
- Select the options to use for the search and click OK to run the search.
Content Manager returns the search result.
