  1. Double-click or click Page - General and then click Properties for the options:
    • Title of this Property Page - the title/name that appears on the first tab of the form
    • Display Field Captions above the Field - not available for Special purpose pages - sets the field captions to appear above the field rather than at the left of the field.

The font is the standard dialogue box font used elsewhere in Content Manager is Arial 8 points.

When above the field, the font will be Arial 6 points.

The exception are selection boxes that always have the caption on the right, but the caption font will change to the small font, if required.

This option also sets the New Record form to use double columns, i.e. fields will appear beside each other.

Content Manager will not use double columns for a selected field when the field is set to Always Display Full Width.

    • Indicate Mandatory Fields - off by default - sets the New Record form to indicate which fields are mandatory.

A red asterisk will appear after the captions of any mandatory fields.

Also, on the Record Type - Form page, Content Manager marks the mandatory fields with a red asterisk.

    • Hide the page if all fields are hidden or read only - not available for Special purpose pages - select this option to hide a page on the record entry form if all fields on the page have been flagged as hidden, e.g. additional fields that the user does not have permissions to view or modify etc., or if the fields have been set to read only. If a user access to a 'hidden' field, then the Page on the form will be visible to them and they will be able to modify the fields they have access to.
