Prefix searches

Content Manager enables you to use prefix searches within lists.

In a list, prefix searches enable you to type the start of an item and jump to the first occurrence.

For example, in a Locations list, type C to jump to that section of the list.

NOTE: Prefix search operates with the default column sort order. It uses the first column by default. When you change the column order or sort by any other column, the prefix search will only retrieve data that has been displayed already - you will only be able to jump to the items that are already displayed. When you change the column order and then sort by the first column, the prefix search function will operate correctly.
