Workflow Activity Results page

The Workflow Activity properties Results page enables you to set results that later Activities can be started from.

If the Workflow Activity requires only a single result to be selected, on this page, select Only allow selection of 1 result. When enabled, users will only be able to select a single result when completing the activity.

  1. To add a new result, in an Activity Properties - Result page, right-click and select New Result to display the New Result dialogue box.
  2. Fill in the fields:
    • Result Name
    • Description - description of the result
    • Rollback to Activity - sets the Activity to allow rollbacks.

      You can use a rollback when you want to force the Workflow back to previous steps. From the drop-down list, select the Activity to roll back to.

    • Send email when selected - select this option to send an email notification to the Workflow creator when this result is selected by a user completing the Activity. The Results Selected Email Template Event Type is used for the email notification. This can be customised to suit the organisation's requirements. See Email Templates for details.
  3. Click OK

Right-click an existing result for the options:

  • Copy - copies the result to the clipboard to paste it e.g. into a document
  • Delete - removes the result
  • Properties - to edit the result
