Trays and Labels search methods
You can search for records in your trays using other search criteria.
For example, when you have a large number of records in your work tray, you could refine it by searching your work tray and combining it with the date registered search method to show only the records in your work tray that were first checked in on a certain date.
- From the Search menu, select Find Records
- At the bottom of the dialogue, click the Editor button and make sure that the Boolean search editor is selected
- Click KwikSelect beside the Search By box
- Click the expand symbol to expand Trays and Labels
- Select one of the search methods.
In the space below the list, you can see more detail about the search method.
The column Caption shows the field or data the search method is about, for example:- Favourite - finds your favourite records
- Recent Containers - finds the records in your recently used containers tray
- Recent Documents - finds the records in your recently accessed documents tray
- Records Due - finds the records that you or your position have to complete an Action for
- Records In - finds the records that you or your position are the Assignee of
- Records In or Due - finds the records that you or your position have to complete an Action for or you are the Assignee of
- Records Work Tray - finds the records in your working records tray
- With Label finds the records with a specific user label
- Click OK
- To specify more criteria, in the Search for Records dialogue box, click New.
A second line appears in the Current Selection box.
- Beside the Search By field, click KwikSelect again to select more criteria, for example Date Registered.
The second line will read and Date Registered is on <TODAY'S DATE>.
- Choose the date range you want to search by
- To specify more criteria, in the Search for Records dialogue box, click New.
- Click OK. Content Manager.
Content Manager returns the search result.
