View Rights command

The View Rights dialogue box is available from any Content Manager item with Access Controls by using the right-click Security and Audit menu.

The View Rights dialogue box displays the security and Access Controls set for the selected item, generic permissions for the current user and allowed tasks for the selected item. This is a useful function to see why certain tasks can or cannot be performed on a selected item.

The View Rights - Ribbon tab, displays a list of the ribbon options and groups which can be expanded to see why options in the Content Manager ribbon are, or are not, available to users.
