Rendering tab

To display this tab, right-click the Workgroup Server and click Properties, then click the Rendering tab.

This tab enables you to configure which rendering requests will be processed on the selected Workgroup Server.

To enable the Workgroup Server to process the rendering requests, select:

• This workgroup processes PDF rendering requests

• This workgroup processes automatic PDF request generation

  • Blazon Queue Server - type the URL for Blazon server. For example, http://localhost:8090/.

  • Shared Path for PDF Rendition Staging - type the path for staging folder or browse and select the folder. You can create new folder or give existing folder name that would be a dedicated staging folder for PDF rendition.

    NOTE: The shared path must be accessible for the rendering components, i.e. Workgroup Servers and Blazon Job Processor.

• This workgroup processes OCR rendering requests
  • Use an alternative server for OCR rendering - if alternate servers are required to process OCR rendering, select this option. The alternative OCR rendering servers must have Media Server installed.

  NOTE: Content Manager uses the existing OCR rendition staging UNC folder path Shared Path for OCR rendition staging to share the extracted document to Media Server.

  • OCR Server Name - type in the alternative OCR rendering server name.
  • OCR Server Port - select or type the alternative OCR rendering server port number.
  • Use OEM encrypted communications- default: enabled with the OEM IDOL license. Disable if you are using Enterprise IDOL and require communications outside of Content Manager.

• Generate detailed log entries for rendering operations - select this option to generate detailed log entries to assist in diagnosing rendering issues.
