Event processing Options tab
To see this tab, right-click a dataset and on the menu Event Processing, click Configure.
Then select the tab Options.
The tab enables you to set event processing parameters for this dataset. You should only ever change the default settings when Content Manager Support instruct you to do so.
- Event processing batch size - default: 500. Number of events that Content Manager retrieves from the database in one batch.
- Event queue polling interval (seconds) - default: 120. The interval at which Content Manager polls the database for events.
- Processor serialization lock timeout (seconds) - default: 600. As some event processes run on multiple Workgroup Servers, they apply database locks to synchronize each other. In the unlikely scenario that one event process applies a lock and does not release it, Content Manager releases the lock automatically after this interval.
- If appropriate, process events in random order to speed up event selection - this option can be useful for large event backlogs that don't require events to be processed in the strict order of their creation. The events that can be processed in random order are:
