Document Storage dialog box

Right-click a dataset and click Properties, then click the Document Storage tab to see this dialog box.

The Document Storage dialog box also appears when you click Next in the Options dialog box in the Create or Register New Dataset dialogs.

• Path for Default Document Store - the path for the default store for objects and documents.

  UNC format is recommended.

  NOTE: If you use a non-UNC path, Content Manager displays the message: The global path should be a UNC pathname. If it is not, a Content Manager Workgroup Server may not be able to access stores located on the global path.

• Document Store Pool Cascading Set Size - number of stores in the store pool that this dataset uses. When all the stores in the pool are full, Content Manager selects this number of new stores to form the new pool. The Content Manager administrator creates the required number of stores using the Content Manager client.
