Working with multiple datasets

Click icon (top right) available in chats, channels, posts, files on Client side or sites, check in places, check in styles, my files, lists of channels or users on Server side to view multiple datasets. The dataset ID of the currently selected dataset is displayed in brackets next to the icon .

Switching between multiple datasets

To switch between datasets, perform the following steps:

1. Click icon, a drop-down list of multiple dataset is displayed.

2. Click and select the dataset you want to switch to.

   If you have set a custom skin color for a dataset, then when you select the dataset, the skin color changes in the MS Teams also.

Show from all datasets

A record can be Checked In to multiple datasets.

To check which datasets are the records Checked In to, perform the following steps:

1. Click icon, a drop-down list is displayed.

2. Select Show from all databases. In the list, you will see that same record has entries with different record numbers showing that it is Checked In to several datasets.

   IMPORTANT: For a Channel, Chat, or Site, if Server Side filing is enabled in more that one dataset, then clicking Show from all databases option displays separate indicators indicating that the Server Side filing has been enabled and the dataset ID is also mentioned for clarity.
