Searching records

With this option, you can search for Content Manager record(s).

You can use search clause to search for a record, for example, search for record(s) based on record number, date registered, title word, and so on. And then enter the search query in the text box or click KwikSelect to display the set of values. KwikSelect for some of the search clauses displays set of options to choose from, for example, for Edit Status search clause, the KwikSelect options would be Checked In, Checked Out, Managed In Place, etc.

You can view the record properties and add it to the list of your favorite records. You can also view recently accessed documents, favorite records, checked out documents, records in, and records in or due.

To search for record(s), perform the following:

  1. Navigate to Server side Content Manager app and click Search and expand to the following options:

    1. Favorite records - displays records added to your favorite records.
    2. Recent Documents - displays recently accessed electronic documents.
    3. Checked Out Documents - displays documents that are Checked Out.
    4. Records In - displays all the records that are assigned to you or your default Position Location.
    5. Records In or Due - displays all records that are currently in either the Records In or records with Actions due assigned to you or your Position.

You can sort, remove a column, and add or remove a property to the displayed columns. See Filtering and sorting MS Teams content.

Clicking Menu displays options to edit the electronic document in native app or browser based app, add notes, workflow options, adding contacts, add to favorite or remove from favorite, and view properties. See Properties tab for details.
