Content Manager Options
With this option, you can set default Record Type or Check In Style, default language, date format, time zone, and custom skin color.
To access Content Manager Options, navigate to Server side Content Manager app and click Content Manager options. A task pane is displayed with options to set default settings.
Setting a default Record Type
To set the default Record Type, perform the following:
- In the task pane, select the Use default record type check box.

Enter the Record Type name or select it from the drop-down.
If the required Record Type is not displayed, enter the Record Type name in the text box or click the KwikSelect and select from the list displayed.
- Click Save.
Setting a default Check In Style
To set the default Check In Style, perform the following:
- In the task pane, select the Use a Check In Style for new records check box.

Enter the Check In Style name or select it from the drop-down.
If the required Check In Style is not displayed, enter the Check In Style name in the text box or click the KwikSelect and select from the list displayed.
- Click Save.
Setting language, date, time zone, and custom skin
To set the locale, perform the following:

In the task pane, click Language drop-down and select Default, English(International), or English(United States).
Check the Include records with the 'alternatively within' relationship option to set the same language for both records contained within a container and those with an Alternatively within relationship with the container.

Click Date Format drop-down and select YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYY, or DD/MM/YYYY.

Click Separator drop-down and select the separator from the list (/,.,or,).
- Click Time Zone drop-down and select appropriate time zone.
- If you want to set a custom skin, check the Use a custom skin option and select a skin color from the palette. The color you chose is reflected in the page indicator line.
- Click Save.
