Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Content Manager Mobile App supports Mobile Device Management solution where your organization can have centralized plan for managing multiple device types operating on different Operating Systems. With this configured, you can control who can access Mobile App or what features they can access on the Mobile App.

To implement MDM, you can create work profile that allows you to automate, control, and secure administrative policies across multiple devices. Using this work profile on you mobile, you can install Mobile App.

With MDM, Administrator should be able to modify the exposed configuration settings from MDM and also be able to push the Content Manager Mobile App bundle from MDM to any mobile device. Once Content Manager Mobile App is installed from MDM, it should work based on the configuration changes made by Administrator.

You can manage the following Content Manager Mobile App functions using MDM:

  1. ServiceApiUrl - Option to auto populate Service API URL.

  2. CanDownload - Enabling /Disabling download functionality.

  3. CanShare - Enabling /Disabling Sharing record from Content Manager Mobile App functionality.

  4. CanEditServiceApiUrl - Option to lock in/disable the editing capability of the Service API field once it's populated.

NOTE: While creating configuration policy for Mobile App, in Android, the configuration key values will be auto populated. However, in iOS, the configuration key values have to be entered manually.
