Family Name
- Workgroup Servers are working together in what is called a family in Content Manager
- Each Workgroup Server can only belong to one family of Workgroup Servers
- Each Workgroup Server family uses a distinct configuration file called TRIMconfig.tcfg
- Each dataset should only be accessed by one Workgroup Server family
- For business or technical reasons, you may want to move a Workgroup Server from one family of Workgroup Servers to another. You cannot do this by just adding the server to the new family, as the server's .tcfg file would not match that of the new family.
- To move a Workgroup Server to a new family, you have to copy the new family's .tcfg file to the new server
See also Content Manager Enterprise Studio Help for information about saving and deploying the configuration file.
