Customizing the list pane

The list pane is the top portion of a Select from... dialog where the available items are listed.

Customizing the window columns

1. In the window that is to be customized, right-click the column header row of the list pane for the commands:
   • Sort Ascending - sorts the items listed in the column in ascending order
   • Sort Descending - sorts the items listed in the column in descending order
   • Format Columns - to add new columns and customize column appearance.

     The Column Preferences dialog appears.

     It depends on the window you are using which columns appear here.

     • Available Fields - available fields that can be added as a column for the current window
     • Displayed Fields - active fields that will be displayed as columns in the current window
     • Add - add a column from the Available Fields list to the Displayed Fields list
     • Remove - remove a column from the Displayed Fields list
     • Up / Down - move a column up or down the list, changing the order the column appears in theSelect from... dialog
2. Click OK to save your changes.
