List panes and view panes

Many of the dialogs in the Office integration are divided into two portions:

  • List pane at the top - displays items in a list.

     

  • View pane at the bottom - displays details for the selected item in the list pane. When viewing records and depending on the record currently on display, the view pane will display tabs to reveal more information about the selected record:
    • Properties - the default tab - lists individual fields that comprise a record's metadata

    • Notes - displays the Notes field

    • Viewer - if applicable, displays a preview of the current version of an electronic record
