Finding SharePoint related records
You can search for Content Manager SharePoint related records that were created by the Content Manager zero-footprint integration using practically any of the information about them that is saved in Content Manager.
As they are records, you can use many of the search methods for records to locate them, for example, by searching for the records using the SharePoint behaviour Record Types.
This is the pane in the main Content Manager window under the toolbars.
Use the fields:
- Search For - select SharePoint Documents
- Search By - use KwikSelect to select a search method, or type all in the drop-down box
- Matching criteria - enter the data to find
- Run the search button - click to start the search

- On the Search menu, click Find SharePoint Documents.
The Search for SharePoint Documents dialogue box appears. - Use the Boolean search editor to search, for example, by:
- All - to find all communications in Content Manager
- Date Last Updated - to find SharePoint documents based on when they were last updated
- List Item Id - to find SharePoint documents for a List Item Id
- List Record - to find all SharePoint documents for a List record
- Unique Identifier - to find all SharePoint documents with a specific ID number
- Optional - use the Filter and Sort tabs to refine your search results further
- Click OK.
Content Manager returns the SharePoint documents that match your criteria.

The search string editor enables you to use the full capabilities of Content Manager searching, combining potentially large numbers of criteria, and using advanced filter and sort options. See Using the string-based search editor.
Select the SharePoint document record in Content Manager to find the SharePoint item for.
Use the properties in the View pane SharePoint Document URL and SharePoint List URL to click and navigate to the SharePoint site using your browser.
You can right-click Content Manager SharePoint documents for the options:
- Show - Show SharePoint Item Record
- Show - Show SharePoint List Record
You can right-click Content Manager SharePoint list records and list item records by using:
- Navigation - SharePoint List Contents
- Navigation - SharePoint Items
