New Manage in Place (IDOL Connector) document store

- On the Administration menu, click Document Stores.
The Document Stores window appears.
- Right-click and click New Document Store menu, select Manage in Place (IDOL Connector) from the displayed list.
The New Document Store dialog box appears.
- Fill in the fields on the Manage in Place tab:
- Name - the name for the store
AUTN_GROUP property for Manage In Place Connector (mandatory) - Identifier for ControlPoint’s Distributed Connector to identify the group of connectors this store is configured to use, for example: SharePointRemote. Enables Content Manager to communicate with the external repository’s connector via the Distributed Connector.
When setting up a manage-in-place environment, the Content Manager Administrator can obtain this value from the ControlPoint Administrator.- Configuration Information - for ControlPoint Distributed Connector configuration details. You need to enter a URL in the format hostname:port, for example: http://<distributed connector host>:7000
- Select the required options on the General tab. See Document stores general settings.
- Fill in the fields on the Tiered Storage tab, if required. See Tiered storage.
- Fill in the Usage tab - optional. See also Configuring the usage details.
- Test - click to test the store link
- Click OK.
Content Manager saves your new store and it appears in the Document Store window.
- In Content Manager Enterprise Studio, enable the event processor Document Store Event Handler.
It is a way of guaranteeing that delete requests to an external document store are eventually processed by retrying failed requests until they are successful. - Save your changes to the configuration in Content Manager Enterprise Studio and deploy the configuration
