Best and Worst Route views
This applies to Workflows that contain Activities with OR conditions.
The best and worst route view enables you to determine the estimated cost and duration for a Workflow graphically. It selects either the most or least cost-effective route as well as the least or most time-consuming route.
- Best Route View - the least time consuming and/or least costly route through the Workflow
- Worst Route View - the most time consuming and/or most costly route through the Workflow.
To access the functions:
- Right-click - Best Route View or Worst Route View
- View menu - Best Route View or Worst Route View
Content Manager displays duration and cost calculations with their line style on the status bar on the bottom left side of the Workflow editor.
- Duration is indicated by large dashes ( )
- Cost is indicated by small dashes (---------)
- Where cost and duration fall on the same line, the condition line will combine the above line styles into one ( - - - -)
To easily identify each route in a complex Workflow, hover the mouse over one of the lines. The entire route will flash.
To select normal view again, click View - Normal View.
