Sorting the list pane by column
Content Manager enables you to sort the items in the list pane by columns.
Sorting the data
- Click the column header, for example Record Number.
Click a column header the first time to sort the items in ascending order and the column will display an UP ARROW in the header.
Click the column header again to sort the items in descending order and the column will display a DOWN ARROW in the header.

Right-click the column header and select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.
NOTE: Sort Ascending and Sort Descending have no effect on the items within a container. This is normal Windows behaviour.
However, you can set the sort order for items within a container with the option Show the contained items in reverse date order. See Options Search Results page.
