Report Item Order dialogue box
The Item Order dialogue box enables you to position and reorder the fields on the report layout.
- In your report layout window, on the View menu, click Item Order
- Select the item you want to reposition and use the Up and Down buttons to move it
NOTE: Items will not be repositioned unless they are positioned on a tab stop.
Items listed higher in the Item Order list may affect those listed lower down.
Dynamic items such as the Notes and Title fields will contract or expand - only if two or more lines are set out in the report layout automatically to accommodate varying text lengths.
These fields will also grow horizontally to accommodate data until they encounter the next field on the report.
Notes fields will expand and contract vertically and so must be the last listed item on the report.
Title fields will only contract vertically.
