Enabling email notifications

Content Manager enables administrators to set certain events to generate automatic email notifications.

For email notifications to function, the following elements must be configured:

  1. In Content Manager Enterprise Studio, right-click the dataset you want to set up email notifications for and on the Event Processing menu, click Configure.

    For Mail Notification, select Enabled and the Workgroup Server to process them.

  3. The mail options in the system options - Email - System Options Notifications page. You can use email notifications for:
    • Security breaches
    • Document stores approach capacity
    • Action Assignees
    • Workflow Activities
    • To Do items
