Modify Record Access permission

Determines whether a user can modify the security or access profile of a record to determine who is allowed to modify its Access Controls.

To modify the Owner Location of a record, you need this permission.

Users of user type Administrator are not affected by this restriction.

Access controls can be applied or changed on records by a user:

• Who already has Access Control to the current record

  -- or --

• If there is no Access Control defined for the record, is part of the Owner Location of the record
