Checking in drafts from Offline Records

In the Offline Records tray, right-click on the draft record and select Check in. The Check in dialogue box will display.

  • Title - will come from the existing title of the document in Offline Records.

You can modify it when the New Record form appears.

  • Create a new record - will display the New Record form for you to fill out and check in a new record
  • Attach to an existing Record - enables you to attach the electronic document to an existing record in Content Manager.

Use KwikSelect to search Content Manager for the appropriate record.

When you attach an electronic document to an existing record, you can change Date Created to the date that the electronic document was created.

  • Change Date created to Document Date - the date created will come from the document instead of using the current date
  • Keep document(s) checked out after check in complete - will check the document into Content Manager and then check it back out to Offline Records so you can continue to edit the document
