Timing of applying Action tracking to records

You can attach Actions or Procedures to a record at the time you create a record or at any later stage:

• When creating the record - for more information about setting up a Record Type so that a default Action or Procedure will be associated with each new record created for that Record Type, see Record Types
• At any other time - for more information regarding the steps involved for assigning Actions and Procedures, see Action tracking
