Document queue Records Defaults tab
Use the Document Queue Properties - Record Defaults tab to set the defaults applied to the documents being checked in from the queue.
NOTE: The same options on this tab and the Options tab are used for dropped files defaults. See Options Documents page.
- Use a check in style for new records - select this option to select a Check In Style to be used when checking in documents. The default settings applied to the Check In Style will be applied to the documents being checked in from this document queue. Click the KwikSelect to search for and select the Check In Style, or select one from the recently used drop-down list.
- Use the following settings for new records:
- Default Record Type - select the default Record Type (electronic) Content Manager should use when checking in documents from the document queue.
Either type in the Record Type name or use KwikSelect to select from the available electronic Record Types.
- Default Container - select the default container record to use for documents being checked in from the document queue.
Either type in the container number or use KwikSelect to select from the list of records.
- Set Default Author Option - set the option to define what location will be assigned as the Author. From the drop-down list, select from:
- No Default - the Author field will be left blank.
- Current User - sets the Author based on the current user.
- Current User Unit - sets the Author based on the current user's default organization.
- Specified User - sets the Author to the specified location. If this option is selected, then a location must be selected for the Specific Author field. Either select the Author from the drop-down list, or use the KwikSelect to search for the required location.
- Addressee - select the location that will be set as the document's Addressee.
- Alternative Container - select the container that the document will be alternatively contained within on check in.
- Default Record Type - select the default Record Type (electronic) Content Manager should use when checking in documents from the document queue.
