Options Locale page

The Options - Locale page enables you to select the language that Content Manager should appear in.

  • Language - select the Content Manager language from the drop-down box.

    Restart Content Manager for the change to take effect.

    When Language is set to English (United States), and the Content Manager administrator has set Content Manager to use US record management terminology across the system in the Administration - System Options - Compliance page, then your Content Manager interface with all windows and dialogues uses US records management terms.
    English (United States) also means that Content Manager uses a Help file in US English with US Records Management terms.

  • Date format - to use a date format different from the computer operating system
  • Date separator - to choose a different character to use as date separator. By default, Content Manager uses the slash (/).

    Below this field, Content Manager displays a sample date with the current settings.
