System Options OneDrive page

These system options enable you to set OneDrive connectivity. Select the Enable to users to use OneDrive to check in/check out documents to enable the following options:

  • Authenticate to OneDrive - when authenticating to OneDrive, choose whether to use a custom OpenID Connect configuration, or whether to use the OpenID Connect configuration configured in Content Manager Enterprise Studio for authenticating Content Manager users. For datasets with an OpenID Connect configuration that authenticates to a M365 tenant, this allows users to checkin and checkout to OneDrive without any extra prompts, using just their Content Manager logon credentials.
  • Directory (tenant) ID – tenant ID provided by the identity provider.
  • Application (client) ID - provided by the identity provider when registering Content Manager as an OAuth 2.0 client.
  • Application Scope - configured in the identity provider, for the Content Manager OAuth 2.0 client. Specifies the desired scope of the authentication. An example would be "openid email".
  • Redirect URI - should always be "https://127.0.0.1".

NOTE: The redirect URI for OpenID Connect authentication has changed from urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob to https://127.0.0.1. When you register an APP in Azure, AD FS, M365, Google, or Okta etc, make sure to include the Redirect URI as https://127.0.0.1. Otherwise, Content Manager users will not be able to log in using OpenID Connect.

  • Test OneDrive connection - click to test the authentication is successful.
  • Use Content Manager login credentials to connect to OneDrive - select this option to allow users to authenticate to OneDrive using the same OpenID Connect credentials they logged on to Content Manager with.
  • Test Content Manager credentials - click to test whether the current users Content Manager credentials can be used to authenticate to OneDrive. The user must be logged on to Content Manager using OpenID Connect authentication.
  • Use credentials from M365 store for the Update Exposed Document Event Processor - enter or click down arrow to select from the drop-down list or click the KwikSelect to display the list of Microsoft 365 stores. Search for and select the required Microsoft 365 store.

The audit events are tracked for the records using OneDrive to check in/check out. To view the audit events, right-click on the record and select Security and Audit > Active Audit Events.
