Removing records from containers

  1. Search for the record(s) you want to remove from containers
  2. Right-click and select Locations - Container
  3. Select Remove Permanently From Container
  4. Select New Home.

    When removing a record from a container, you must allocate a new Home Location for the record because the Home Location was set to the container.

  5. Click OK.

NOTE:

  • Remove Permanently from Container - when removing a record from a container, there is no way to select a Space management system level.

    First you have to select a Location to temporarily assign it to and then move it to the Space management system level you want.

  • The option Remove Permanently From Container removes any association with the container record; it does not delete the record from the dataset.
