Capturing content from private channel
Content Manager supports capturing content from private channel(s). You can add Content Manager app to capture content in your private channel(s).
To add a private channel, perform the following:
- Navigate to Teams tab, click More option on any of the Channels, and then select Add channel. The Create a channel dialog is displayed.
- Enter name for the channel and description, if any.
- Select Private in the Privacy drop down.
- Click Create to create the private channel.
The newly created private channel will be displayed under the main channel.
The owner of the channel can add members to this channel. The posts and files on this channel will be accessible only to the members of this channel.
Add the Content Manager app to the private channel. Only the members of this channel can capture content of this channel to Content Manager. The operations applicable to standard channel(s) are also applicable for the private channel(s).
