Record right-click options
On the Select from... dialogs, there is a right-click menu available for the listed items. The options that are available are dependent on the type of record is selected. The available options are also dependent on the way your Content Manager administrator has set up the database, as well as your level of access.
Right-click menu options that may be available are:
Search
- Refresh Search - click to reload the search results.
- Count - select this option to count the number of items in the current window.
- Saved Search As - select this option to save the search for future use. See Saving Searches for details.
Navigation - available from the Select from Records dialog. This menu allows you to view items that are related to or associated with the currently selected item. See Navigation options for details.
Contained Records - available from the Select from Records dialog. This will display all records contained within the selected record.
Details
- Notes - add or edit notes attached to Content Manager records. See Notes for details.
Security and Audit
- Security/Access - set or edit security and access permissions on Content Manager records. See Security and Access for records for details.
- Exclusions - available from the Select from Records dialog. Set or edit to exclude specific Locations from accessing the record. See Exclusions for details.
Locations
- Assignee - available from the Select from Records dialog. Set or modify the record's Assignee. See Assignee for details.
- Attach Contact - available from the Select from Records dialog. Set the record's Contacts. See Attaching Contacts to a record for details.
- Show Contacts - available from the Select from Records dialog. Displays the Select from Locations Contacts dialog.
Electronic
- Revisions- available from the Select from Records dialog. Displays the Select from Revisions dialog, where Revisions can be preserved or deleted. See Record Revisions for details.
- Renditions - available from the Select from Records dialog. Displays the Select from Renditions dialog, where Renditions can be added or deleted. See Record Renditions for details.
- Favourites - adds the record to your list of favourites.
- Add To Recent Documents - adds the current record to the list of recent documents.
- Add To Records Work Tray - adds the current record to your Records Work tray.
- Add To User Label - displays the User Labels. From the displayed Select from User Labels dialog, select the required User Label and click OK.
- Remove from Favourites - removes the record from your favourites
- Remove Record from Recent Documents - removes the record from Recent Documents.
- Remove Record from Records Work Tray - removes the record from the Records Work tray.
- Remove from User Label - removes the record from User Labels. From the displayed Select from User Labels dialog, select the required User Label and click OK.
Properties - click Properties to display the record's Properties dialog box.
