Content Manager Databases
The DB_DDLADMIN privilege is enabled for Content Manager DB user account. Will disabling the DB_DDLADMIN privilege impact any Content Manager functionality apart from schema upgrade?
The role, DB_DDLADMIN, is required during schema upgrade, manage, and analyze functionality. Also, it is needed during SQL text indexing recreate, check, and reindex functionality.
As this is not regularly used, you can disable it and enable the role before the you run schema upgrade functionality.
The zero record is tightly integrated with Content Manager functionality and is present as per the Content Manager application design. Without these zero records, even the basic search functionality or saving a record will not work. The Content Manager semantics are tightly coupled or associated with the zero record concerning schema as well as the application code.
