Prefix Searches

Content Manager enables you to use prefix searches within lists.

In a list, such as a Select From ... dialog, prefix searches allow you to type the start of an item and jump to the first occurrence.

For example, in a Record Type list, type D to jump to the first Record Type in the list that starts with D.

Prefix search operates with the default column sort order, so if the Record Number column is first in the display, that is the column the Prefix search will operate in.
