System Options Web Services page
IMPORTANT: If your organization or service provided has opted to use the Content Manager Administration client, this page will not be available in the Content Manager client System Options. To enable or disable any of these options, you will need to access the Content Manager Administration client. See the Content Manager Enterprise Studio - Dataset setup and maintenance - Content Manager Administration client help for further information.
Content Manager Web Client and Content Manager WebDrawer are separate applications that enable users to access Content Manager managed data and items using a Web browser.
- Content Manager web server
URL - for Content Manager WebDrawer, type a valid URL for a Content Manager Web Server servicing a Content Manager dataset, for example http://CMWebserver.organisationname.com.
For Content Manager Web client, type a valid URL ending with a slash symbol followed by default.aspx (/default.aspx) to access Content Manager Web client from a Web browser, for example http://CMWebclient.organisationname.com/default.aspx. - URL format - select the appropriate item relevant to the previous option:

- Content Manager WebDrawer
- None
Content Manager can embed URLs in the Content Manager reference files that users create.
Users can then right-click these references in Windows Explorer and click Try URL to open these references in their default Web browser, using the application selected above.
You can add the property Web URL to the view pane to see the URL the Content Manager item has in the Web application.
Creating and using Content Manager URL references- Search for the record(s), and on the shortcut menu, click Send To - Make Reference and save the file
- Users can right-click the reference file and click Try
URL.
The Content Manager item appears in a Web browser window.
When the field Web URL is in the view pane, you can right-click the URL in it to open your Web browser and go to the address.
NOTE: You can create URL references to most Content Manager items. When a Web URL is not possible for an item, Content Manager opens the record with the default application for Content Manager references.
- Protect the following email domains from unauthorised use - type in the email domain name(s) that will be processed via EmailLink. Multiple domains can be added using a semi-colon ; as the separator, e.g. @abc.com;@xyz.com
Only users with the Modfiy logins and user profile permission will be able to add an email address that belong to the defined protected domains to a location that has a login. - Google License Key for Geolocations Feature - enter your organisation's Google Maps JavaScript API key. This key can be obtained from the Google Maps Platform.
- GIS Interface File - Content Manager comes with all the necessary files to provide a mapping solution using Google Maps. The main API used is the HTML connector file located at C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Content Manager\google_maps_connector.html. Any mapping provider that has a java script API can be used instead of the Google mapping option.
NOTE: If your organisation is using the GPS feature in the Content Manager Web Client, you will require a Google License Key for this feature to work.
TIP: If you find that the GPS browser is not displaying correct after upgrading, click Save the GIS Interface File on this tab to re-apply the file.
