Dataset Work In Progress dialog box

The Dataset Work In Progress dialog box appears when you click Start in the Run Parameters dialog box in the Create New Dataset dialog.

It shows and enables you to control the process of creating, upgrading or migrating an Content Manager dataset.

1. Use the option Pause after to choose when to pause the process:

   This will control which restart files, if any, the process will create and enable you to break up the process into multiple, restartable steps:

   • Each Step - pauses after each step is completed
   • Major Steps - pauses after each major step is completed
   • Complete All Steps - completes all steps without pausing

   All Steps and Major Steps enable you to back up the dataset at the stage it paused, which means you can rectify any problems that may have occurred.
