Methods are created entirely by the client side of Data Subset Extraction. For the Data Express for z/OS solution, the extraction batch job using the created method is performed by the z/OS platform, though the job is launched from the client side. Before launching the extraction job, you must have allocated the output sequential files with names corresponding to those of the output files indicated during the method confirmation phase on the client side.
