Part 2: What's Fixed in 25.4 (13.1)?
Dimensions RM 25.4 is a major release with focus on AI capabilities, usability, and integration improvements. It also addresses various enhancement requests and issues that were submitted by customers:
· New Generative AI Capabilities:
o AI
Diagram generation based on requirements
o Advanced document import with artefact identification (beta)
o AI feature input scope on document chapter level
o Support of Azure OpenAI deployment

o New document views (set of attributes and format options) usable across projects
o Add to/remove from document within requirements list
o Adjustable table column widths
o Show table header when scrolling
o Allow copying of multiple requirements at once
o Allow relationship selection when copying a chapter with links
o Adding requirements from a requirement list or form to a document
o Instance setting to disable adding requirements using inline editing

o Faster loading of requirement and document list in home view
o Global search performance improvements
· Usability Enhancements:
o Workflow state change applied in edit form
o Breadcrumb improvements (available and editable everywhere)
o Requirement grid improvements
o Direct linking on displayed links in form
o Full collapse of split view filters
o Configurable transition buttons (visibility, guidance text) on edit form
o Configurable workflow state descriptions on top of the edit form
o Definable color per class for better UI visualization and charts
· Test Management Enhancements:
o New
Test Parameter management
o Order definition for test cases in test suites
o No automatic switch to next step for passed with deviations or blocked tests
o Enhanced filter options in test management view
o Close all open test tabs at once
o Show test steps in reports and documents in table format
· Branching
Enhancements:
o Complete branching of products/projects/categories, including structure and documents
o Ability to create a target product/project during branching
o Allow to re-branch a document that was deleted in the target branch
· Reporting
Enhancements:
o New
Trace Diagram with coverage and progress, including drill-down (visual
status of decomposition)
o New public filter
o Support display of text attributes in graphical reports
o New relationship constraints for filters and quick search
o Enhanced visualization of relationships in the relationship report wizard
o Added ability to include widget descriptions
· Other Customer related Enhancements:
o Order definition for workflow states for reports and search forms
o Progress percentage definition for workflow states
o Show transitions as disabled if constraints are not met
o Allow selection of requirements from different categories in the hierarchy for baseline creation
o Selectable relationships for copy requirements with links
o Raise suspect when an object is linked
o Show information on who added requirement to container and when
o Background copy category and notify user when complete
o New direct URL to category/product/project with focus view
o Option for a direct URL to requirement to open within context
o New direct URL to compare containers dialog
o Populate attributes on Create New & Link to read-only attributes
o New "Plain Text" option for Excel export (avoid multiple rows for rich-text attributes)
