Use this page to set up Role-Based Services (RBS) in Novell® iManager 2.0.

There are four configuration options. Choose the one that best fits your circumstances. We recommend that you first create a new iManager 2.x collection and install the modules you want. Then migrate your iManager 1.x data to 2.x.
1. Create a new collection (iManager 2.x)
This option creates a new iManager 2.x Collection object. We recommend that you run this first before choosing the other options.
This option also allows you to install iManager plug-ins (sometimes called "modules") to the new Collection object you are creating.
2. Migrate a previous collection
This option creates both a new 2.x collection and migrates a previously created 1.x collection to the new 2.x collection.
IMPORTANT: Any custom tasks or custom pages that you created with the iManager 1.x Task Builder or iManager 1.x third-party plug-in are not migrated. You need to recreate them by using iManager 2.0. Custom roles and custom property books migrate to iManager 2.0. Also, any tasks from iManager 1.2.2 should be installed in 2.0 before migrating.
3. Migrate previous role association
This option migrates previously created iManager 1.x role associations to a current iManager 2.0 collection. This option does not create a new 2.x collection.
4. Upgrade collection
This option upgrades outdated 2.x plug-ins and also installs any 2.x plug-ins that were not installed during the creation of the 2.x collection.
