Mail Server Configuration

The Email Notification feature lets you select plug-in-specific tasks that users want to be notified of whenever those specific tasks occur. Tasks are set up by the plug-in itself. However, you must first configure the mail server.

The mail server configuration specifies the SMTP server settings for event notification:

• From Address

  The address to appear in the From field of the e-mail message.

• Primary Mail Server

  An IP address or server name (for example: smtp.novell.com) and username and password that are required to send through the SMTP server.

• Secondary Mail Server

  Optional. Used in case of failover.
