Attribute Information

ASN1 ID
Shows the unique ASN.1 identifier for the class. We recommend that this string be registered with NetIQ or another institution authorized to provide registered ASN.1 identifiers.

Only the OES 2.0 latest patches allow you to edit this field.

1. Add, modify, or delete the value in the field.
2. Click Modify.
   A message, " Are you sure to modify ASN1 ID?" is displayed.
3. Click OK.
   Depending on the validation, either a successful message or an error message is displayed.
4. If the operation is successful, click OK to exit from the page, or click Repeat Task to repeat the task.
5. If you encounter an error message, specify a valid ASN1 ID.

Syntax
Displays the specific syntax of the chosen attribute. There are 29 available syntaxes, such as Case Exact String and Time. These are used to specify how you want data entered for each attribute. The syntax can only be specified when an attribute is created. You cannot modify it later. For syntax descriptions, see the NetIQ eDirectory 8.8 Administration Guide.

Attribute Flags
Displays the attribute flags of the chosen attribute.

Classes Using Attribute
Displays all classes that are currently using the attribute. This list is updated when an attribute is modified.
