Step 2: Define the module information
A module is a container that holds task and property book objects. The module
defined in this step will contain the tasks and property books in your plug-in.
In this step, you can enter information about the following attributes:
- Module ID: The name of the module. This is a required field. The name
should represent the name of the product that your plug-in belongs to.
Example: eguide
- Module version number: The version number of the module. Whenever you change
the definition for a role, task, or property book defined in the install file,
you need to change the module version number. iManager uses this number to
determine whether to reprocess the install file to update the plug-in objects.
Example: 1.0
- Resource properties filename: The name of the resource file for the module.
iManager uses this file for the display name and description keys of roles,
tasks, and property books.
Example: eGuideResources
- Module description: A description of the module.
