Create Object

Use this page to create an object in your eDirectory™ tree.

1. In Roles and Tasks, under eDirectory Administration, click Create Object.
2. Select an object from the list of available object classes, then click OK.
   Each type of eDirectory object is called an object class. For example, User and Organization are object classes. Each object class has specific properties, such as Login Name, Password, Last Name for the class, and User.
   Depending on which class you select, a form appears where you can specify class object properties.
3. Specify the information requested, then click OK.
