Use this wizard to create custom tasks that access services on your NetWare® 6.5 server or on another server running Novell® eDirectory™. The options displayed are based on the rights of the authenticated user.
NOTE: If you are accessing a server other than a NetWare server, the only service type available is Other.
Creating a Custom Service
Select Other to create a custom service. A custom service created in iManager works like shortcuts do in Novell exteNd Director™ (formerly known as Novell Portal Services). When prompted, provide the URL for the basic authentication prompt built into the browser software or provide the URL to an HTML form that prompts for the username or password.
