When you log in to iManager, you cannot access different trees simultaneously.

eDirectory™ accepts a fully typed DN (example: cn=admin.o=novell), a fully untyped DN (for example: admin.novell), or a contextless login (for example: admin) in a search to find the user.

Novell® Virtual Directory Services uses LDAP, which requires either a fully typed DN (for example: cn=admin,dc=novell,dc=com) or a contextless login (for example: admin) in a search to find the user.

1. Type your administrative username.
2. Type your password.
3. Type a tree name, IP address, or DNS name.
4. Select eDirectory or LDAP from the drop-down menu.
