Login Restrictions

Use this page to set eDirectory™ login restrictions for this object.

Account Disabled

Indicates whether login is disabled for this object. If an expiration date has been set for this account (see below) and that date has passed, the system automatically disables login and selects this check box. To enable login, deselect this check box. To disable login unconditionally (regardless of whether the account has an expiration date), select this check box. The account remains disabled until you or someone else deselects this check box. The setting of this check box is stored in the Login Disabled property of this object.

Account Has Expiration Date

Specifies whether this account has an expiration date. An expiration date specifies a date and time when the system will disable login for this object. To set an expiration date, check this check box and then click the Calendar icon next to the Expiration Date and Time field to select the expiration date and time you want. To keep the account active indefinitely, uncheck this check box. The setting of this check box and the expiration date and time are stored in the Login Expiration Time property of this object.

Limit Concurrent Connections

Specifies whether to limit the number of login sessions that this object can have open at a time. The number of concurrent login sessions generally corresponds to the number of workstations the object is logged in from, but some workstation operating systems and applications allow users to open multiple login sessions at a time. To limit the number of concurrent login sessions, select this check box and specify a number between 1 and 32,000 in the Maximum Connections field. To allow unlimited concurrent login sessions, deselect this check box. The setting of this check box and the maximum number of connections are stored in the Login Maximum Simultaneous property of this object.

Last Login

Specifies the date and time this object last logged in.
