Identification

Use this page to specify optional user information that facilitates searching for the eDirectory™ User objects that are created from this template.

Other Name

Specifies one or more additional (unofficial) names for the users that are created from this template. Each name can be up to 64 characters long. The names are stored as additional values of the Name property of the new users.

Title

Specifies one or more titles for the users that are created from this template. For example: Marketing Manager. Each title can be up to 64 characters long.

Location

Specifies one or more physical locations for the users that are created from this template. For example: Building A Office 12. Each location can be up to 128 characters long, including punctuation.

Department

Specifies one or more departments for the users that are created from this template. For example: Marketing. Each department name can be up to 64 characters long. The department names are stored in the OU property of the new users.

Telephone

Specifies one or more telephone numbers for the users that are created from this template. For example: (801) 861-7000. The telephone numbers are stored in the Telephone Number property of the new users.

The telephone numbers are case sensitive. Searches yield a match only if they are entered with the correct uppercase and lowercase letters (if letters are used in the telephone number).

Fax Number

Specifies one or more fax numbers for the users that are created from this template. The fax numbers are stored in the Facsimile Telephone Number property of the new users.

The fax numbers are case sensitive. Searches yield a match only if they are entered with the correct uppercase and lowercase letters (if letters are used in the fax number).

Description

Provides one or more short descriptions of the users that are created from this template. Each description can be up to 1,024 characters long, including punctuation, spacing, hard returns, and so forth. Use the icons to the right of the field to add, delete, or modify individual entries.
