MFDaemon is a process that runs on your PC to maintain mainframe login access details. With mainframe credentials:
When you start a mainframe access session on your PC, MFDaemon checks for an
.INI file and loads any login configurations that it contains.
When you edit a node to set login credentials for the node, MFDaemon saves these credentials and supplies them as required
when access authentication is required.
Note: Although not encrypted, the password is saved in the
.INI file in a non-human-readable format.
You can use the
MFACLIENTINI environment variable to set the name of the
.INI file. If this variable is not set, the default name and path of the
