Using the Audit Manager as a Windows Service (deprecated)

Note: Audit Manager is deprecated and provided for backward compatibility only. We recommend that you use syslog events instead. See Enterprise Server Auditing for more information.

If you have configured the consolidator to use the AUDITFILE Emitter to log audit information, you will need to manage the files that it creates.

To create your own audit emitters to log information, see Audit Emitter Interface.

Note:

The default installation installs the Audit Manager as a service.
