To stop and restart an MQ listener

  1. Start ESMAC for the enterprise server instance that is running the MQ listener.
  2. On the ESMAC sidebar under Resources, select MQ from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Listeners.
  4. Click the Details button that corresponds to the listener you want to stop and/or restart.
  5. Click Stop to stop the listener, or click Start to restart it.
  6. Click Refresh to update the status (optional).
Note:
  • You can also stop and restart listeners using the casout command.
  • You can stop a writer; however stopping a writer deletes the writer.
  • A writer cannot be restarted once it has been stopped (deleted).
